2023 Pangolin Roundtable

Initiated in 2015 by Greenhood Nepal, the annual Pangolin Roundtable brings diverse stakeholders to discuss the pangolin conservation challenges and possible solutions in Nepal. Greenhood Nepal and Division Forest Office Rapti, Makawanpur, with the support of the Pangolin Crisis Fund, organised this year’s Pangolin Roundtable a few days ahead of World Pangolin Day. The roundtable discussed pangolin conservation in Makawanpur with key researchers, policymakers and local communities to provide a diverse perspective on the challenges of local communities in pangolin conservation, identify knowledge gaps, and explore conservation strategies and policies required for long-term pangolin conservation.
