Orchids are among the most threatened plants worldwide and research suggests conservation education and awareness as one of the major priorities activities to protect them. This project is designed to aware and educate the local communities in Panchase Protected Forest in Kaski, which is well known for many globally threatened orchid species. The key activities include workshops with local residents, conservation camps for school students, and the preparation and dissemination of children storybook covering the basics of orchid conservation importance.
