Greenhood Nepal comes with the Nepal chapter of Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN) for the young conservation leaders. “Global Youth Biodiversity Network- Nepal” will be an official National Chapter of GYBN in Nepal. As the official major group for youth in the negotiations at CBD, GYBN is committed to bringing the opinions and positions of young people into the political process; empowering young people to take action. GYBN seeks to inspire global youth and future leaders to work for the sustainable use and conservation of biodiversity for a healthy environment and society.
Similarly, GYBN-Nepal will be a platform to raise the voice of the unheard for a better future. It will work for transferring the knowledge, advocating the issues for the conservation of biodiversity. GYBN-Nepal will be a network, engaged in mainstreaming of biodiversity as a part of GYBN to represent the global youth in the negotiations at the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity.
GYBN-Nepal, as a network of young conservation leaders, enthusiasts, researchers and activists will act as the bridge between the people, wildlife and the world leaders and policymakers. It will actively work to protect biodiversity loss through research, advocacy, awareness activity, and ground-level actions.
