Sabina Shakya is an environmental science graduate from Tribhuvan University. She is an aspiring conservationist with a focus on both the ecological and socio-economic aspects of conservation. Her work centres human- wildlife conflict, and community engagement, with research experience on species like crocodiles and tigers. Sabina is a budding storyteller and science communicator. As a program associate at Greenhood Nepal, she manages communications and supports various programs and conservation projects. She brings her passion for wildlife conservation and science communication to enhance the organization’s outreach and impact. Beyond her academic pursuits, she enjoys landscape photography, exploring music, and collecting stories of local people from different parts of Nepal.
