Prakash holds a bachelor’s degree in Botany from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, with his research interests focused on conserving threatened plant species with the aid of science-based solutions. Prakash is active in planning and implementing projects aimed at protecting threatened plant species. Trained in taxonomy and ecology, Prakash describes plant species, their ecological roles and conservation values. Currently, he is working to support the restoration of wild populations of Maire’s yew in Central Nepal. When not immersed in research, Prakash spends time singing, playing football, hiking, and searching for wildflowers.
