Greenhood Nepal had an incredible time participating in the Nepal Owl Festival 2025, an event dedicated to raising awareness about owl conservation and broader environmental protection efforts. The festival, hosted by Friends of Nature (FON) Nepal and Mithila Wildlife Trust, brought together conservationists, researchers, and nature enthusiasts from across the country to celebrate and advocate for the protection of owls and their habitats.
As part of our engagement, Greenhood Nepal set up an interactive stall to educate visitors about species conservation, conservation education, and the importance of community-based conservation initiatives. Through engaging discussions, visual displays, and awareness materials, we highlighted our ongoing efforts to protect Nepal’s rich biodiversity. It was heartening to see so many individuals, from students to community members and conservation professionals, eager to learn and exchange ideas about preserving Nepal’s wildlife.
Events like the Nepal Owl Festival play a vital role in fostering knowledge-sharing and collaboration. They provide an excellent platform to bring different stakeholders together, reinforcing the need for collective action in conservation. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Friends of Nature-FON Nepal and Mithila Wildlife Trust for organizing such a successful event, and we appreciate everyone who stopped by our stall to support our work and engage in meaningful conversations.
At Greenhood Nepal, we remain committed to promoting environmental awareness and community involvement in conservation. The energy and enthusiasm we witnessed at the festival inspire us to continue our mission of protecting Nepal’s unique wildlife and ecosystems. We look forward to participating in more such events in the future and strengthening our collective efforts to safeguard nature.
