Elisha, a Research Associate at Greenhood Nepal, is working on interdisciplinary research and the conservation of freshwater species. She has also previously worked helping to assess the condition of Nepal’s water resources within the framework of the current EIA governance, policies and practices of the hydropower sector. Elisha aims to carry out interdisciplinary research benefitting both humans and nature. Her research interests surround a common focal point – ‘development should never be at the cost of a healthy environment.’ Currently, she is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Environmental Science at Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and has served as a Research Intern at the Presidential Chure-Terai Conservation Development Board. When not working, Elisha, a nephophile, is busy hiking and chasing clouds drifting over the gorgeous mountains of Nepal.
