While delivering conservation, Greenhood is also building the local capacity to sustain biodiversity conservation programs in the long run. We provide platforms for emerging conservation leaders, fostering research collaborations, and advocating for the inclusion of youth in conservation policy, we aim to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to address the complex environmental challenges facing Nepal and beyond. 

We offer support to young conservationists through the Nepal Conservation Research Fellowship, which provides support to emerging conservationists in their professional growth through research opportunities. We also host the Nepal Chapter of the Global Youth Biodiversity Network-Nepal (GYBN Nepal Chapter), which facilitates youth engagement in biodiversity conservation policy dialogues at national and international platforms.

Additionally, we focus on professional development by offering mentorship and research grants that empower emerging conservationists to undertake meaningful research and contribute to the conservation field.
